The Rebels will attempt to build on their results versus the college football betting odds in 2010.
The squad is even considering bringing in former Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli. The Rebels could use Masoli taking into account they have no 1 to backup starter Nathan Stanley. Mississippi went 9-4 last year and 7-6 versus the college football lines.

The Rebels regretted that decision when they took a shot last year on Jamar Hornsby as they had to dismiss him from the squad after he had some difficulty again. They might not have discovered anything from that situation though as they look willing to take a shot on Masoli.
Mississippi will have to do something considering their current backup quarterback is junior college transfer Randall Mackey who was not even at spring practice.

With an upset along the way the Rebels could find a way to eight victories this year.
